

JACO CDM was established in July 2004 and formerly it was one of divisions of Japan Audit and Certification Organization for Environment and Quality (JACO). JACO is a leading certification / registration organization for EMS and QMS certification in Japan with approx. 200 auditors.
CDM Auditors of JACO CDM shown in the attached Table-1 "JACO CDM Auditors" have passed the validator / verifier training program (consists of domestic and overseas training) sponsored by METI, Government of JAPAN. They are well experienced and have accumulated capabilities for validation and verification through EMS assessment activities of JACO, CDM validation / verification activities such as shown in the list of JACO CDM's Experiences and overseas training such as Rice husk biomass project in Thailand and Methane extraction and power generation project in Malaysia.
In case when there is a necessity for us to increase our capacity by such reason as urgency of the projects or special technologies, there is an agreement that JACO, the parent company of JACO CDM, will assist JACO CDM in supplying suitable specialists.
For a sectoral scope, where any specialists are not available in JACO, such as forestry, we have a contract with experienced specialist.
By above arrangement, JACO CDM received the "Indicative Letter of CDM-AP dated 5 February, 2005 for all sectoral scopes.
